LIP 20th Exhibition

Finally, a new update… Life’s been too hectic of late…the upshot of which is that I’m thrilled to say I’ve started studying for a Master’s degree in photography (at TVU in Ealing)…am truly loving it so far, though it feels weird contemplating things like essay writing and navigating reading lists again after 16 years…

I’m also really pleased to announce that the first public showing of my recent Missionaries project will be as part of the 20th London Independent Photography annual exhibition. The show’s selectors were Clare Grafik, Curator, The Photographers’ Gallery, London and Professor Paul Hill, Course Leader, MA Photography, De Montfort University, Leicester. I have 2 works in the show. A book of the show is also being produced – will post details when I have them.
Missionaries has been an 8 months long project based at an Evangelical fundamentalist religious community in West Sussex, and I’m really excited that it’s finally beginning to see the light of day. I’ll be slowly slipping out images from the project on badbean over the coming weeks and the project will be featured on my portfolio website as soon as its up and running.

Talking of which if there’s any good quality (and preferably independently-wealthy 🙂 ) Flash gurus out there who’d be up for designing a website, for not much money, or, preferably in exchange for a print or two, then hey! Lets talk!!
