Calshot velodrome…is our home. As featured in Tom Vek’s Nothing But Green Lights (real stream). Check back here soon for details of the next badbean / CB’ers Calshot track day if you fancy riding it with us.

It’s the steepest, shortest track in the UK, but Toronto’s FCV looks to be steeper, tighter, shorter. Which means it needs to be ridden. Hmmm, maybe time to start checking out work contracts in Toronto…

The good folks at fixedgearlondon are doing a fixed gear jaunt down to Brighton next Sunday May 6. Meet at 9am in Covent Garden and bring yr bucket and spade.

… just like the real l2b except on fixed and without your next door neighbour riding his petrol station full-susser. Bet we still end up walking up Ditchling though.

But lille ain’t all about the riding. Saturday nights are just like those in any other town, so y’know, when in Rome…

Lambersart, in France’s Nord-Pas-De-Calais, 15km from Roubaix. 130km of riding in glorious dusty open fields and 26 degree sunshine. No pavé just melting tarmac.

Easter 2007

Easter 2007 and all is well in the kingdom. King Bradley and Queen Victoria are resplendent on their respective thrones. Nicole Cooke has just won the Ronde van Vlaanderen. The weather’s gorgeous, track season has begun and life is good again.

We wish Kirk J a speedy recovery. Hope they strapped you in tight for that last lap in the ambulance. Eek!

Thx to the peerless Messrs Riley & Wood for the contributions 😉
